This NetCDF dataset contains 55 maps of global environmental parameters with half degree resolution. The primary source is the textual Aquamaps Half-Degree Cells Authority File (HCAF) for 2016 (http://www.aquamaps.org/main/envt_data.php). The parameters come from heterogeneous authoritative sources and models (https://goo.gl/LaHiEC). Six maps are time dependent and contain reliable global estimations from 1950 to 2100. The scenarios for 1950, 2050, and 2100 were calculated by transforming the AquaMaps estimates into geospatially explicit NetCDF datasets through the gCube DataMiner. The 2016 scenario was calculated by adjusting real observations and projections for the today scenario in order to make them compliant with the 1950 and 2050 scenarios.
